Ita Cives is a team of experienced professionals in matters regarding Italian citizenship .
We specialize in court cases for the recognition of Italian citizenship iure sanguinis in favor of descendants of Italian citizens who emigrated abroad
We assist our clients in every phase of the procedure: from the search for documentation to the bureaucratic steps subsequent to the ruling that recognizes Italian citizenship of the applicants. We also provide advisory services and legal assistance for paperwork at Embassies or Italian municipalities of residence.
Lawyer Fabio Mastrogiovanni obtained a degree in Law with full marks from the University of Pavia with a thesis in criminal procedure focused on criminal proceedings entitled: “Evaluation of evidence in organized crime trials”. He subsequently continued his studies, obtaining a diploma at the School of Specialization for Legal Professions (SSPL) of the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan and the University of Pavia.
Over the years he has collaborated with various professionals including the lawyer. Orietta Stella of the Pavia Bar and the lawyer. Marino Vignali of the Milan Bar. He is also a member of the non-profit organization “Avvocato di Strada” whose aim is the free defense (judicial and extrajudicial) of homeless people.
In 2020 he founded the law firm Ita Cives with which he is engaged daily with the consultancy service at Municipalities and Courts for the acceptance of applications for recognition of the civitatis status.
